You told us you want NC A&T to provide off-campus housing options. Ones that combine the safety and financial control of on-campus housing but with the freedom, independence and responsibilities of off-campus apartment living. We listened.
We’ve acquired five apartment communities steps from the main campus. Each provides uninterrupted study, a vibrant social life and access to mental health services. All are safe, student-only and deliver the right amenities and an enjoyable living environment for both personal development and academic success. Together, we’re calling all five communities Aggie Apartment Life.
As part of NC A&T housing portfolio, Aggie Apartment Life comes with the financial control and convenience of pay by semester plans through financial aid. What’s more, it also gives you a taste of what it’s like to live on your own in the real world but without all the responsibilities and risks. In short, our Aggie Apartment Life serves up the best of both worlds for those who are ready to experience the freedom and independence of living off-campus.

In late December 2022, inclement weather caused pipes to burst in several of the Aggie Apartment Life communities resulting in extensive damage. Affected students were forced to move to temporary housing for their own safety and welfare. During the course of repairs, additional water and mold damage were discovered, resulting in the need to move more students into temporary housing.
On January 23, 2023, A&T Housing & Resident Life, N.C. A&T Real Estate Foundation, Burkely Properties, A&T Public Safety and A&T Public Health held its first weekly informational forum to provide updates on the housing situation and answer student and parent questions. The informational forums will continue every Monday at 4 pm (unless otherwise stated), until repairs are complete.
Updates as of February 27, 2023 include:
Students should have received communications with an invitation to or schedule about moving back into the apartments along with a form to request and schedule moving assistance.
