EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. – July 22, 2025 – A real estate and property management professional with more than 15 years of leadership experience in the field has been named interim executive director of the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Real Estate Foundation, campus leaders announced today.
Effective immediately, Sheena Jerman takes the reins of the Foundation – an independent, non-profit support organization for North Carolina A&T, managing strategic land acquisition and real estate development. The Foundation has acquired multiple off-campus apartment complexes in recent years to add to N.C. A&T’s student housing stock, and is currently building The Resurgent, a multi-purpose health care and office building joint venture with Cone Health nearing completion on East Market Street.
As interim executive director, Jerman will continue to guide the Foundation’s operations, support its strategic priorities and ensure appropriate stewardship of its real estate assets.
Jerman joined the Foundation in January 2022 as director of real estate, bringing with her deep industry knowledge and a strong commitment to advancing the Foundation’s mission. Since then, she has played a critical role in high-impact initiatives, including the acquisitions of University Pointe and University Landing and successful bond closures.
Jerman holds a B.A. in organizational management and an MBA from Ashford University, along with a certification in financial planning and analysis from Wharton Online. She is also a licensed real estate broker in charge and instructor in North Carolina.
She serves on multiple community boards and chairs the membership committee for the Piedmont Triad chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).
A comprehensive search for a permanent executive director will be launched soon.
