Jacqueline Stringfellow
Director of Accounting

Jacqueline Stringfellow, Director of Accounting, joined the N.C. A&T Real Estate Foundation’s team in November 2011 as the Assistant Director of Accounting. She is a 1992 graduate of NC A&T State University with a BS in Accounting and is also a recipient of the Silver Congressional Award. Jacqueline’s career in accounting for nonprofits spans more than 25 years of providing accounting services for community service organizations, community development corporations, foundations and grass roots organizations in the Triad area. Jacqueline has served on several integration implementation teams to align the Foundation’s human resources, financial software and reporting applications with the University.

Jacqueline is responsible for the Foundation’s financial planning and budgeting plus all related entities. She plans, organizes and coordinates the overall daily operations of the Accounting Department in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Julie Melikpor-Lee
Director & Program Manager of The Alumni-Foundation Event Center

Julie Melikpor-Lee joined the N.C. A&T Real Estate Foundation’s team in April 2008 as the Director of Marketing & Client Consultation. Today she is the director and project manager for the Alumni-Foundation Event Center, where she consults and oversees the operations for a range of university and public events at the center.

She holds a master’s degree in Agribusiness & Industrial Management and has a strong background in leadership with a track record of helping companies achieve high profit growth.

Sharon W. Johnson
Project Manager

Sharon Johnson joined the N.C. A&T Real Estate Foundation’s team in April 2020 as the Real Estate Project Manager. She ensures the successful completion of real estate-related projects including renovations and up-fits. Additionally, Sharon assists with the management, preservation and enhancement of all real estate assets. 

She holds a BS and MS degree in Architectural Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University.

Jimeetre Miller
Executive Assistant 

Jimeetre Miller joined the N.C. A&T Real Estate Foundation’s team in March 2021 as an Executive Assistant. With a 20-year skill set in this field, she handles and maintains key support of the Executive Director’s needs.

Darlene Norman
Real Estate Officer

Darlene Norman joined the N.C. A&T Real Estate Foundation’s team in October 2003 as the Executive Assistant. When the University Foundation became the Real Estate Foundation, she was promoted to Real Estate Officer. 

The Real Estate Officer manages the purchase and sale agreements for real estate transactions as well as managing leases for University partners. Darlene holds a degree in Business Administration.

Barbara Purnell
Real Estate Accounts Receivable Accountant

Barbara Purnell joined the N.C. A&T Real Estate Foundation’s team in October 2022 as the Real Estate Accounts Receivable Accountant. She ensures the responsibility of accounting and budgeting functions for the real-estate foundation. Along with transfers of real estate foundation housing funds. Additionally, Barbara assists with the state reporting for the University Accounting Treasures office.

She holds a B.S. degree in Accounting and a MS degree in Information Technology from North Carolina A&T State University.

Larry Smith
Event Coordinator

Larry Smith joined the N.C. A&T Real Estate Foundation’s team in April 2011 as the Marketing and Client Relations Consultant. Larry provides steadfast event coordination with attentiveness to detail and awesome customer service. 

Larry also applies his outstanding communication and impeccable client support skills to coordinate on and off campus events.
